膜下滴灌水氮运筹方式对棉花叶片衰老及产量和品质的影响
Effects of Irrigation and Nitrogen Application Regimes on Leaf Senescence and Yield and Fiber Quality of Cotton in Plastic Mulched/Drip Irrigated Systems

In order to clarify the effects of irrigation and nitrogen application regimes on leaf senescence and yield and fiber quality of cotton, two genotypes of high-yield cotton cultivars were used with a soil column culture experiment. Four water and two nitrogen treatments were designed. The results showed that enhancing basal fertilizers increased the activities of SOD, POD and CAT of leaf under water deficit; thereby, eliminated free radicals and active oxygen, consequently, enhanced stress resistance. When sufficient water and nitrogen supply were restored after full flowering stage with adequate irrigation of pre-sowing, the activities of SOD, POD and CAT increased and MDA content reduced. Thus, lipid peroxidation was restrained and cell membrane stability was increased. As a result, the senescence of both leaf and plant were delayed and leaf function period was extended; consequently, the boll weight and in the end cotton yield was increased, and part of fiber quality was improved. Therefore, through the decrease of the allocation of water and nitrogen before the full flowering stage, together with the increase of the allocation of water and nitrogen during the middle and late growth stages with adequate irrigation of pre-sowing, the object of extending the active photosynthesis duration, increasing the yield and improving the fiber quality was achieved.
